Yahoo! Mail Drives Me Crazy!

YAHOO!!! What’s up with ALL THAT SPAM??? Sorry, this is one of those VENTING posts, I need to get it out…
Ok, so here’s the deal. I have about 10 different email accounts (yeah… I know) which I check at least once a day. They vary from my Work Corp. address to my personal / business email addresses. More than 50% of them are hosted with one of the 3 Free Online Email Systems:
- Mail.Yahoo.com
- Live.com / Hotmail.com
- GMail.com
What really frustrates me is out of all my accounts, my Yahoo! Accounts are the ONLY ones which are ALWAYS plum full of SPAM. Take a look:
Hotmail and GMAIL actually do a really nice job these days filtering out SPAM and Phishing Schemes. I guess YAHOO! needs to get with the program and buy up an email Sanitizer like Microsoft (Frontbridge) and Google (Postini) have already done.
MessageLabs is a pretty good shop AND independent. I wonder why Yahoo! hasn’t bought them yet??? Although they are #2 behind Postini, they are gaining ground quickly!
Ok there… Got it off my chest.
Anyone else out there need to vent? Are you getting a lot of SPAM these days? Who do you use?

I’m right there with ya. rant away! Yahoo sucks. it got so bad for me i nuked my account. Much prefer gmail. GMAIL was crap up until about Feb of 08. now i seems to pickup all the spam I get. Didn’t know they bought Postini so that all makes sense now.
