Diet Coke of Super Tuesday over at Microsoft
Feb 24th, 2009 by MrGroove
Just 1 calorie, not SUPER Tuesday enough…
This morning I took a look over at microsoftPost.com and found that Microsoft released over 30 updates this morning including updates for Windows 2008 Server and it’s new Client OS, Windows 7 Beta.
Here’s a few updates that caught my eye from this mornings barrage of Microsoft Updates:
Update for Windows 7 Client Beta (KB967062)
Install this update to resolve issues with non-compatible applications for Windows 7 Beta
Microsoft Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows Vista
Microsoft Remote Server Administration Tools enables IT administrators to remotely manage roles and features in Windows Server 2008 from a computer that is running Windows Vista with Service Pack 1 (SP1) or later versions of Windows Vista Service Packs.
Update for Windows Server 2008 R2 Beta for x64-based Systems (KB967062)
Install this update to resolve issues with non-compatible applications for Windows Server 2008 R2 Beta.
Now granted, I know “Super Tuesday” aka… the 2nd Tuesday of each month is Microsoft’s day for releasing SECURITY updates but, I just couldn’t resist using the Austin Powers reference this morning.
